Flikit values the trust that our customers, associates, representatives and service providers place in us when they give us personal information. We believe that privacy is much more than an issue of compliance and we endeavour to manage your personal information in accordance with our core value of respect for the individual.

If you provide Flikit with Personal Data relating to a third-party by submitting such Personal Data to us, you represent to us that you have obtained the consent of the third-party to provide us with their Personal Data for the respective purposes.

By:

(1) clicking “Yes” on our Privacy Policy pop-up or any web form referring to this Privacy Policy on any of our online Platforms, or

(2) submitting your Personal Data to us when signing up for an account on the Website or App, or

(3) browsing our Flikit Technology, including our Website or App, or

(4) ordering any of our products and services

you are agreeing to the terms of this Flikit Privacy Policy.

What Does This Privacy Policy Cover?

This Privacy Policy describes what personal information we collect, how we collect and use your personal information, who we disclose it to and why, the measures we take to protect your personal information, and the choices you may have regarding our use of your personal information. It covers our Flikit online Platform in Australia including our website and mobile app and services where this Privacy Notice is posted (“Flikit Technology”).

What Personal Information Do We Collect?

Flikit may collect or receive the categories of personal information listed below, which may depend on the products or services you may use, as well as your device and account settings. Not all categories of personal information will be collected or received about every individual.

Categories of personal information may include, but are not limited to:

  1. Basic Personal Identifiers, such as name, telephone number, residential address, email address and personal signatures
  2. Device and Online Identifiers, such as account login information, Mac address, IP address, cookie IDs, mobile ad IDs, and social media information
  3. internet and Other Network Activity Information, such as information about your browsing or search activity as well as your interactions with our websites, mobile applications, emails, or advertisements such as keystroke patterns (these tell us if it is you who is interacting with us, or a bot)
  4. Commercial Information, such as purchase and transaction history information (such as products or services you have purchased), product reviews;
  5. Demographic Information, such as age, gender, citizenship, ethnicity, date of birth, family or marital status and software or virtual assets owned
  6. Financial Information, such as credit or debit card numbers, and financial account numbers
  7. Geolocation: Data about the location of your device, which may be imprecise (i.e., inferred from your device’s IP address). If you provide your consent, this data may be precise.
  8. Inferences: Individual preferences and characteristics, such as inferences drawn from and related to shopping patterns and behaviours, intelligence, and aptitudes

How does Flikit collect Personal Data from you?

We collect Personal Data from you when:

1. You register an account on the Flikit App or the Flikit Website; 

2. You use any of our related services, such as subscribing to our newsletter or product notifications;

3. You browse our products and services or otherwise interact with our Website and Apps;

4. You accept our cookies and other tracking technologies on your device;

5. You interact with our customer service team or other representatives, for example, via our webform, chat, emails, telephone calls, letters, or face-to-face meetings;

6. You interact with us on our Social Media, such as liking our posts, commenting on our posts, private messaging us on our Social Media;

7. You sign up to our affiliate marketing partner network;

8. You purchase a gift card for redemption on Flikit platforms

9. You participate in our promotions and giveaways, initiatives or any request for additional Personal Data such as customer surveys;

10. We consult publicly available sources of information, or receive references or referrals from marketing and business partners, related companies and third parties, for example, where they referred you to us to enjoy the benefits of a joint promotion or collaboration or to redeem a voucher you purchased through them;

12. Your authorised representative submits your Personal Data to us for any purpose reasonably authorised by you, for example if such representative is purchasing our product or service to be delivered to you or as a gift;

13. Our third-party analytics and other service providers, business or commercial partners provide your Personal Data to us, which was collected and processed by them and disclosed to us pursuant to their separate privacy policies; or

14. You voluntarily submit your Personal Data to us for any reason.

We do not directly collect your credit card details to process your payment or for customer service purposes. Your credit card details are collected, processed and stored directly by our third-party payment processors, including STRIPE pursuant to their terms of use and privacy policies. None of your credit card details are permanently stored with us. 

We may use and disclose your Personal Data only for purposes necessary to provide you with our products as services, including to:

1. provide, maintain, protect and improve our technology, products and services, and monitor their effectiveness;

2. register and maintain your user account and to verify your identity or age;

3. process your order for our products or services, process or collect your payment for the order;

4. deliver or perform the products or services you purchased, including couriers calling or messaging you to obtain your delivery instructions;

5. facilitate you transacting via alternative payment methods (such as Paypal or Afterpay)

7. provide you with supporting services and functions related to your Flikit user account, 

8. communicate with you in relation to (i) your queries, requests and feedback, (ii) material changes to our Flikit Technology, the Agreement related policies or other terms and conditions, and (iii) matters relating to the operation of your account via the Flikit Technology.  

9. personalise and improve your customer experience when you use the Flikit Technology, for example by prioritising products and services appearing in your search results or feed, or in communications we send you; 

10. monitor and enforce compliance with our Terms and Conditions, including dispute resolution; 


11. to carry out administration, marketing, planning, account security, fraud detection and loss prevention activities, procurement, product and service development, quality control and research to improve the way we provide products and services to you;


12. comply with (i) internal risk controls, (ii) the terms of our access to payment processing, financial or banking services such as credit card disputes, fraud, billing errors, or (iii) any applicable law, regulation or regulator’s directive; and 


13. ensure our Website and Apps function properly and to improve their performance, by carrying out activities such as debugging, statistical analyses for optimising our Website and Apps.

We may also use or disclose your Personal Data for secondary purposes in accordance with applicable privacy laws, or with your further consent.    

Finally, we may also collect information about you in an aggregated and anonymous basis - in order to conduct internal analysis of traffic patterns within our Flikit Technology.

Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with Flikit. 

We hope that every item you purchase through the Flikit technology goes without issue however the Flikit team does understand that sometimes you won’t be satisfied with your order. If you have purchased a product through the Flikit Technology and that product you purchased does not meet your expectations, you can share your feedback with the Flikit team. However if you are hoping to receive a refund, exchange or credit note, you will be required to submit this request to the retailer directly. 

As Flikit is an intermediary third party facilitating a purchase between you and a partnered brand retailer, it is very important that you understand that Flikit does not consider, review or process your refund or exchange requests. This does not mean that you are not entitled to have your request reviewed and processed. Nothing in this policy takes away from the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. The partnered brand retailer will be liable for any major or minor problems with the item that you have selected in accordance with the Australian Consumer law. 

Submitting your request with the partnered brand retailer

In order to have your refund or exchange request considered by the partnered brand retailer, please ensure that you have, in advance of making that request: 

  1. Reviewed the refund and exchange policy of the partnered brand retailer, which is often available on their online website; 
  2. Have a copy of the receipt demonstrating your proof of purchase with you. You can access your receipt on the email address that you entered into the Flikit Technology when making your order. You must take this proof of purchase with you to the retailer and submit your refund or exchange request through the retailer; and 
  3. Take the product purchased with you, in its original packaging when approaching the retailer. 

Any and all refund or exchange requests must be submitted directly with the retailer and Flikit makes no guarantee that a refund or exchange will be available to you. 

This means that in order to make a claim for a refund, exchange or credit, you are required to follow the policies and procedures set out in the retailers terms and conditions. 


Importantly, each retailer has a different refund and exchange policy. It is important that you review the retailer refund and exchange policy prior to submitting your purchase request through the Flikit Technology. 


By using the Flikit Technology you will be charged a service fee for the convenience of ordering through the Flikit Technology. You will also be charged a delivery fee, if you have selected for your item to be delivered through the Flikit Technology. The service Fee and Delivery Fee charged for using the Flikit Technology is strictly not-refundable.
